Jacob Rogers, LVT

Jacob is a dedicated member of the Rose Hill Vet team, bringing with him a passion for animal care and a wealth of experience. Born and raised in Marshall, VA, Jacob developed a deep appreciation for animals from a young age. After graduating from Highland School in 2014, he embarked on his academic journey, initially studying at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. However, his love for his hometown and his desire to pursue a career in animal science led him back to the area in 2015.
Jacob furthered his education at Northern Virginia Community College, where he earned an Associate's Degree in Animal Science and obtained licensure as a Veterinary Technician. His dedication to his field is evident in his work ethic and compassionate approach to animal care.
Outside of his professional life, Jacob finds joy and relaxation in spending time with his husband, Jeff, and their beloved companions: Ember, Kindle, Athena, Cardi. Their household also includes a charming flock of chickens, reflecting Jacob's commitment to fostering a sustainable lifestyle on his burgeoning homestead.
In his leisure time, Jacob enjoys exploring the culinary scene, particularly indulging in oysters at local establishments. He also appreciates the beauty of Virginia's wine country, often unwinding at nearby wineries. Jacob's multifaceted interests and unwavering dedication to animal welfare make him an invaluable asset to the Rose Hill Vet team.

Kaitlyn Rodriguez, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kaitlyn joined our team in April of 2024, brining over a decade of hands-on experience and a genuine love for veterinary medicine. She earned her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Platt College in California in 2015 and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2016. Originally from California, Kaitlyn has embraced life in Virginia over the past three years and thrives in the beauty and pace of rural living.
Kaitlyn has a special love for surgery and a strong passion for dentistry, particularly dental extractions and educating clients about the importance of dental health. Her knowledge and gentle approach make her an invaluable resource for both pets and their families.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys a vibrant and busy home life with her husband, Fidel, and their four children. Their home is full of life, love, and laughter with three dogs - Nadia, Nero and Robert - two cats, Opal and Kitty Meow, and a collection of goats, chickens, pigs, and rabbits. A true homesteader at heart, Kaitlyn enjoys creating and selling homemade breads, jams, soaps, fresh, soaps, fresh eggs and more, bringing a touch of county charm to everything she does. Kaitlyn's expertise, compassion, and dedication make her a trusted partner in the case of every pet she meets.

Meet Elizabeth, a dedicated member of our team at Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic since September 2022. With a passion for animals that dates back to her childhood, Elizabeth has been immersed in the veterinary field since 2019. Hailing from Front Royal, VA, Elizabeth continues to call this beautiful area home, sharing it with her beloved pets, Shadow, Ziva, and Phoebe.
Elizabeth's affinity for animals began at a young age, shaping her career path early on. When she's not providing expert care at the clinic, Elizabeth cherishes moments spent with her family and friends. An adventurer at heart, she finds solace in the sandy shores during summer beach trips and enjoys the vibrant atmosphere of concerts.
Growing up surrounded by a menagerie of pets including frogs, rabbits, turtles, and birds, Elizabeth's love for animals knows no bounds. In her free time, she can often be found at the gym, staying active and healthy.

Introducing Veronica, a dedicated animal lover with a heart for both large and small creatures. Born and raised in Fauquier County, Veronica has spent the past 7 years working tirelessly in the realm of animal care. Her journey began with rescues, then extended to training dogs, and has now culminated in her pursuit of veterinary medicine.
Currently residing in Marshall, Veronica shares her home with her loyal rescue dog, Draco and Olive. With aspirations of furthering her education, Veronica plans to embark on the journey to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), starting school in the fall of 2024.
When she's not tending to the needs of furry friends, Veronica finds solace in the great outdoors, often seen hiking with Draco and Olive by her side. Passionate about sustainable living, she spends her free time planning her future homestead. Additionally, Veronica treasures moments spent with her cherished family and friends, fostering connections that enrich her life.
With her unwavering dedication and boundless love for animals, Veronica is committed to providing compassionate care and making a positive impact in the lives of both animals and their human companions.

Mackenzie joined our team in May of 2024 and quickly became a favorite among both clients and patients. As a Certified Veterinary Assistant with over three years of veterinary experience, she brings skill, compassion, and dedication to every appointment. Mackenzie enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and takes pride in continually expanding her knowledge. Her calm and caring nature makes her a trusted and valued member of our team.
At home in Culpeper, VA, Mackenzie shares a life with her husband, Seth, their Bernese Mountain Dog, Rosie, and two cats, Ophelia and Iris. Away from the clinic she enjoys traveling, beach getaways, and caring for her Koi pond - an activity made even more fun when Rosie helps feed the fish. Her love for music is expressed in her talent for playing piano and other instruments, adding a creative balance to her life. Whether at work or home, Mackenzie's warm personality and love for animals is reflected in everything she does.

With over 19 years of customer service experience, Jennifer Savage is a cornerstone of Rose Hill Veterinary Practice, P.C. She joined the clinic in April 2007 and has been a dedicated and reliable team member ever since. As Office Manager, Jennifer plays a vital role in ensuring the daily operations of the practice run smoothly. Whether she’s assisting a first-time pet owner or coordinating the clinic’s busy schedule, Jennifer brings a calm, solution-focused attitude to every task.
Her friendly personality, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals make her a favorite among clients and coworkers alike. Jennifer takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who walks through the door—both two- and four-legged.
Jennifer lives in Culpeper, Virginia, with her husband Corry and their two cherished dogs, Ruger and Josephine. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting local wineries with Corry, exploring the beauty of Virginia, and spending quality time with her family and close friends. Whether at work or at home, Jennifer is known for her warmth, dependability, and the joy she brings to those around her.

Meet Zoe, our dedicated team member with a perpetual smile, who has been with us at Rose Hill since October 2023. Zoe is currently pursuing a career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), driven by her passion for animal care and welfare. However, her aspirations extend far beyond her current role.
With a long-term dream of owning a rescue sanctuary for senior and unwanted animals, Zoe envisions creating a haven where every creature is valued and cherished. Additionally, she hopes to establish a pet-friendly bakery and cafe, specializing in allergy-friendly treats for beloved pets and their owners alike.
Beyond her professional ambitions, Zoe leads a fulfilling life on her farm in Reva. Surrounded by a menagerie of goats, pigs, cattle, and horses, Zoe's compassion for animals extends to her own beloved pets – Sprout, Karma, Roscoe, Tempie, Myrtle, Millie, and Iyla, her seven cherished dogs, and her beloved cat Figs.
When she's not tending to her duties at work or caring for her farm animals, Zoe finds joy in outdoor adventures like hiking and traveling to national parks with her mom. She also indulges her passion for cooking and baking by creating delicious, allergy-friendly treats for her furry friends.
With her unwavering dedication to animal welfare and her vibrant spirit, Zoe is a valued member of our team, embodying the spirit of compassion and service in everything she does.

Emily Lam
Client Service Representative
Emily joined our team in March of 2025 and quickly made a big impact with her warm smile, kind nature, and dedication to helping clients and their pets. Though this is her first role in veterinary medicine, Emily is no stranger to customer care. She brings over a decade of customer service experience including 10 years in banking and has been dedicated to helping people since she was just 14 years old.
Her lifelong love for animals made this career change feel like a natural fit. As a child, Emily dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and now she's excited to pursue her passion by supporting pets and their families every day. She especially enjoys working alongside her coworkers, who have made her feel right at home, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team.
Emily resides in Luray, VA with her beloved pets: two dogs - Abner, a loveable Puggle, and Rufus, a Golden Retriever/Pitbull mix with a big personality - as well as her three rescued cats, Binx, Salem, and Stevie.
When she is not at the clinic, Emily finds joy in expressing herself through her art. She loves painting, drawing, jewelry-making, and just about any type of crafting project she can get her hands on. Her creativity, compassion and positivity shines through in everything that she does.

Marina Smith
Client Service Representative
Meet Marina who joined our team in March 2025. She has spent over seven years in the pet care industry and currently works as both a Client Service Representative and Dog Trainer. With a special passion for animal behavior, she strives to create a safe, caring experience for every pet. What she loves most about her work is meeting new animals every day and helping them feel comfortable and happy from the moment they walk through our door.
At home, Marina and her husband enjoy life with their three beloved dogs - Sailor (Chesapeake Bay Retriever), Lady (German Shepherd), and Star (Lab/Cattle Dog mix). Their newest addition, a kitten named Beau, is already learning to join in on family adventures like hiking, swimming, and camping.
Fun fact about Marina: She grew up taking singing lessons and now loves to surprise people with her karaoke skills!
